Pierrot le Fou est l'histoire de Ferdinand Griffon (Jean Paul Belmando) qui décide de tout quitter et de partir avec son ancienne amie Marianne (Anne Karina) pour un incroyable périple de Paris au sud de la France.

Le réalisateur, Jean Luc Godard, est une figure de La Nouvelle Vague, un nom utilisé pour décrire une nouvelle génération de cinéastes français qui ont émergé à la fin des années 50. Ces jeunes réalisateurs non conventionnels ont réinventé le cinéma français en modifiant les règles de tournage et de production du cinéma français classique.

Jean Luc Godard faisait partie du groupe qui a annulé le Festival de Cannes en 1968, lors d'événements politiques emblématiques en France connus sous le nom de "Mai 1968".

Une bonne occasion de découvrir ce style mythique du cinéma français, avec une esthétique particulière qui a inspiré les cinéastes du monde entier.



Pierrot le Fou is the story of Ferdinand Griffon (Jean Paul Belmando) who decides to leave everything behind with his old friend Marianne (Anne Karina) for an incredible trip from Paris to the south of France.

The director of the film, Jean Luc Godard, is a figure of La Nouvelle Vague, a name used to describe a new generation of French directors who emerged in the late 50's. These unconventional young filmmakers reinvented French cinema by changing rules of production of French classic cinema.

Jean Luc Godard was part of the group that canceled the Cannes Film Festival in 1968, following the emblematic political movement in France known as "Mai 68".

A good opportunity to discover this mythical style of French cinema, with a particular aesthetic that has inspired directors around the world.

Un prophète de Jacques Audiard est un film qui retrace l'histoire de Malik, un franco-arabe de 19 ans qui purge sa peine de six ans d'emprisonnement dans une prison française.

Au sein de cette prison, il doit s'en sortir seul entre le clan des corses et la diaspora arabe. Quand le hasard le fait travailler pour le clan corse, il commence alors son ascension criminel mais se met aussi en quête de sa propre identité.

Le film a reçu au Festival de Cannes en 2009 le "Prix du Jury".


A prophet by Jacques Audiard is a film relating the story of Malik, a 19-year-old French-Arab who begins his six-year prison sentence in a French prison.

He must fend for himself there between the Corsican clan and the Arab diaspora. When chance makes him work for the Corsican clan, he begins his rise in crime but also seeks his own identity.

The film received at the Cannes Film Festival in 2009 the "Grand Jury" prize.

Mommy est un drame réalisé par le réalisateur québécois 

Xavier Dolan en 2014.


Une mère célibataire veuve, qui élève son adolescente imprévisible et violente, trouve de l’espoir avec l’aide d’un étrange voisin.

Le film a remporté lors de la 67ème édition du Festival de Cannes le prix du jury la même année. Dolan, pour sa première participation au concours a été à 25 ans le plus jeune directeur de la sélection.

Mommy is a drama directed by Quebec director Xavier Dolan in 2014.
A widowed single mother, who raises her unpredictable and violent teenager, finds hope with the help of a strange neighbor.

The film won at the 67th Cannes Film Festival the Jury Prize the same year. For his first participation in competition at 25 years old, Dolan was the youngest director of the selection.

120 Battements par Minutes est un drame historique français qui retracent le mouvement activiste gay des membres du groupe de sensibilisation ACT UP Paris. Dans un Paris des années 90, ce film raconte l'histoire de ceux qui ont résisté aux débuts de l'épidémie pour faire pression sur le gouvernement et les sociétés pharmaceutiques pour une législation plus juste et des recherches de traitements pour les personnes vivant avec le VIH.

Le réalisateur Robin Campillo et le co-scénariste Philippe Mangeot se sont inspirés de leur expérience personnelle avec ACT UP pour développer l’histoire.

Au Festival de Cannes, le film a été salué par la critique et a reçu quatre prix, dont le Grand Prix.


BPM (Beats Per Minute) is a historical French drama that traces the gay activist movement of members of the ACT UP Paris awareness group. In a Paris of the 90s, this film tells the story of those who resisted the beginning of the epidemic to put pressure on the government and pharmaceutical companies for fairer legislation and research treatments for people living with HIV.

Director Robin Campillo and co-writer Philippe Mangeot drew on their personal experience with ACT UP to develop the story.

At the Cannes Film Festival, the film was hailed by critics and received four awards, including the Grand Prix.

Le personnage principal est l'agent de renseignement Guillaume Debailly, nom de code "Malotru", qui est mystérieusement rappelé à Paris après avoir passé 6 ans sous couverture en Syrie.
Le réalisme, la crédibilité de la série et le superbe jeu des acteurs ont déjà conquis beaucoup de spectateurs.

The Bureau is a French political thriller series created by Éric Rochant, which revolves around the lives of agents of the DGSE - France's equivalent of the CIA. The main character is the intelligence officer Guillaume Debailly, code named "Malotru," who is mysteriously recalled to Paris after spending six years under cover in Syria.
The realism, credibility and great acting have already convinced so many viewers.
